We understand your package might be running a bit late! Our website lists delivery estimates, but sometimes shipping companies hit delays. If your order hasn’t arrived after the estimated delivery window has passed, please wait an additional 3 business days while keeping an eye on the tracking number. HAIR EXTENSION CARE
Just like your own hair, extensions need some extra care to stay gorgeous. To keep your Royalexte extensions looking their best and lasting as long as possible, we recommend using our specially formulated hair care products. These products are designed to gently cleanse and condition your extensions, helping them stay soft, shiny, and manageable.
We have detailed care instructions on our website, so you can be a hair extension pro in no time!
Always use heat protectant spray before using any hot tools, and keep the temperature on your straightener or curling iron below 180°C This will help prevent heat damage.
Our curly extensions are already styled that way, so using heat tools on them isn’t recommended. They might lose their beautiful curl pattern.
Real hair
We do not recommend that you colour your extensions, as they are already dyed and treated, and we cannot guarantee that you will get the desired result after further treatments. If you decide to colour your hair, then it happens at your own risk, and guarantees are no longer valid. Hair colouring refers to colour bombs, tinting, toning, colour-depositing masks, henna, silver shampoo, bleaching, dying, and similar treatments.
Synthetic hair
It is not possible to colour synthetic hair as it is made of synthetic fibers, and colour treatments are too powerful for this type of material.
Perming isn’t a good fit for our extensions. The perming chemicals are simply too strong for them and could cause damage.
To keep your extensions looking their best and our guarantees valid, we advise against perming them. If you’re really set on trying a perm, it’s important to understand that it’s at your own risk.
Chlorine and salt water aren’t the best friends. These elements can dry out and damage your extensions. If you’re planning on swimming in a pool or the ocean, it’s best to wear a swimming cap to minimize exposure.
Saunas and tape extensions don’t mix. The high heat in a sauna can loosen the tape adhesive on tape-in extensions. Avoid saunas if you’re wearing this type of extension.
Sauna-friendly options: If you have keratin or nail hair extensions and simply must visit the sauna, braid your hair beforehand to protect it from the heat. Afterwards, be sure to deeply moisturize your extensions with a hair treatment to replenish any lost moisture.
The sun can lighten or fade the color of your extensions, just like it can your natural hair. Apply a UV protection spray to your extensions before spending time in the sun. This will help minimize color fading. Be careful when applying sunscreen. Some sunscreens can stain or discolor hair extensions, so try to avoid getting them directly on the extensions.
The most common reason for extensions falling out is an improper installation. Other factors might be unsuitable hair care products, hair colour treatments, or sauna baths.
